1973 Infrastructure
The original Igloo facility has served our athletes for over 50 years. However, the aging plumbing, cramped lockers, and outdated training space no longer meet the needs of a competitive Michigan athletic program.
A Vision for 2027
Our goal is to modernize the facility while preserving the “Esky” spirit. This includes comprehensive ADA compliance, gender-specific spaces, and professional-grade performance equipment for our student-athletes.
Our Plan
- Construct and install 45 Player Lockers
- Renovate and expand Restroom
- Shower Room fixture upgrades
- Replace/paint walls in the Locker Room and Meeting Room
- Make the Locker Room and Training Room A.D.A. Accessible
- Training/Medical Room: New Ice Machine & Sink, New Paint
- Develop a small separate locker area for female football athletes that includes lockers, restroom and shower
- Meeting Room Technology Upgrades
